Руската армия има в арсенала си подвижни крематориуми, които следват военните действия в Украйна, съобщава "New York Post". Министерството на отбраната на Великобритания разпространи видео от 2013 г. на камиони, които са оборудвани да изгарят телата на загиналите войници, за да бъде скрит действителният брой на жертвите, пише the Telegraph.
"Смразяващ е ефектът от гледката как Русия гледа на своята войска", коментира секретарят на отбраната в Обединеното кралство Бен Уолъс, който предположи, че Русия използва мобилните крематориуми в Украйна. "Ако бях войник и знаех, че моите главнокомандващи имат толкова малко вяра в мен, че да ме следват мобилни крематориуми, или бях баща на син, който е във военната зона на Украйна, и моето правителство е решило да прикрие човешките загуби с мобилен крематориум, щях да съм много разтревожен", казва още Уолъс.
It is expected to follow any troops into Ukraine and be used to get rid of dead soldiers and hide evidence of casualties.
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace suggests Russia will use these mobile units to avoid sending body bags back home.
“If I was a soldier, and knew that my generals had so little faith in me that they followed me around the battlefield in a mobile crematorium, or I was the mother or a father of a son, potentially deployed into a combat zone, and my government thought that the way to cover up loss was a mobile crematorium, I’d be deeply, deeply worried,” he said.
